Students can now enjoy a brand-new course offering from Touro College Graduate School of Technology. EDIT 673, otherwise known as Designing Online Instruction, is a part of the ITP department at Touro, and the continuing education school is thrilled to finally launch the exciting and relevant class. The course, taught by instructor Denise Lewis, will instruct graduate students on how to view instructional design as a creative process. It also incorporates a variety of strategies to address the unique needs of learners.
To build effective online learning experiences, course participants will focus on a broad range of topics that include the following:
- Project Planning
- Content Expertise
- Communication Skills
- Current/Modern Technologies
These topics will provide highly relevant coursework for their students as they begin to synthesize new content, evaluate sophisticated technologies, and cultivate learning solutions that best meet the needs of a richly diverse user audience.
At the end of the semester, students will design, implement, and evaluate a brief online course about an engaging topic of their choosing!
Designing Online Instruction meets from 5:00 to 8:10 p.m. on Tuesdays throughout the semester. Find out more about Touro College Graduate School of Technology, their many computer science classes, instructor Denise Lewis, and all things graduate school by visiting Touro online.
