In most cases, a phlebotomist must receive certification before obtaining work.

The four-week program begins December 12th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in White Plains. You can also register for phlebotomy classes on January 9^th, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in White Plains.

EKG Technician

When it comes to cardiovascular care, an EKG technician is indispensable. To perform an EKG test, a technician positions electrodes on specific areas of a patient’s chest and abdomen to track the heart beat and rate. Other types of testing include using a Holter monitor (a portable device that records heart activity), and cardiac fitness testing. Doctors frequently prescribe EKGs before surgery and to diagnose potential heart issues. 

The EKG technician program is available December 12th (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and January 7th (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) in White Plains.
