New York Tennis School Hosts Bonanza with Celeb Appearances, Manhattan, New York

To mark the winding down of the summer months, ElfTennis is pleased to announce the Back to School Bonanza! That’s right parents and students – while you're running through your checklist of crayons, notebook paper, pencils, and this year's favored cartoon-character lunch box, don't forget to pack your tennis racquet, as ElfTennis is kicking off the school year with an exciting event highlighting tennis lessons in NYC.

On Saturday, September 15th, the New York tennis school will be hosting the Back to School Bonanza. This charitable affair will help raise money for the charity Take Your Shot Sports, and the special needs programs Game Set Match Autism and Almost There/One Step Ahead, and Forehands First who works to refurbish and construct courts at elementary schools, as well as community programs to cover expenses such as staff and one-on-one aids. The bonanza is expected to be a one-of-a-kind experience that will give attendees the opportunity to become familiar with ElfTennis.

With free admission, people can participate in exciting activities, including a 1-hour tennis clinic, one to two-hour round robin/quick start tennis match, and exhibitions & clinics with professional athletes, a zip line, silent auction, food, and more! ElfTennis t-shirts will be for sale, and a Bob Marley look-alike is expected to make an appearance. Star appearances include an exhibition match with tennis pros, a 30-minute lacrosse clinic, a 30-minute football clinic, tennis and magic tricks and a racquet demo, all with high level athletes

In addition to the sports clinics, attendees are invited to participate in the silent auction and raffle. Prizes include a one-hour session with psychic Bernadette Morello, a one-hour session with astrologer Laura Banks, and an autographed tennis ball. In addition, there will be a calcutta where people can place bets on the exhibition matches taking place.

Admission to the bonanza is free. With an admission ticket, students can enjoy the clinics, the zip line, the exhibition match, and raffle. Donations of raffle prizes are appreciated and can be done so by contacting ElfTennis at info@elftennis.com.

Celebrate the back-to-school season in a unique way with ElfTennis' unforgettable, free bonanza. The bonanza is expected to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tentative start time is 10 a.m. at John Jay Park on 77th and York Avenue. Check out the official ElfTennis website for more information on New York tennis.
