Elftennis, the portable tennis school, is hosting three events in the month of October aimed to provide an engaging, educational, and fun experience for both parents and children. Utilizing games and drills, Elftennis establishes a unique and effective tennis program that can be conducted in any location.
This Columbus Day, Elftennis will be holding a special mini-camp consisting of not just tennis, but arts and crafts, neighborhood walks, and other events. The Columbus Day Mini Camp is perfect for parents who are looking to entertain their children during the holiday. It also offers the opportunity for working parents to have someone supervise their children during the work day. Children will be able to meet new friends while trying out tennis and a plethora of other sports. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and starts at $120.
Elftennis also offers "before and after" care from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at an additional cost. The Columbus Day Mini Camp begins at John Jay Park on 77th Street.
On Friday October 12th, Elftennis is hosting a social tennis mixer, giving guests the opportunity to watch two full hours of tennis, have drinks, and enjoy an evening among people who share an interest in tennis. Elftennis invites both single people and those in relationships to the UN Millenium Hotel Court on 44th and 1st from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Reservations are $99 and can be made at the Elftennis Facebook page.
Additionally, Elftennis is hosting a parent’s night out on Friday October 19th, at the UN Millennium Plaza Hotel and area restaurant. This allows busy parents the opportunity to go to dinner and play tennis while kids are entertained with games, movies, and making new friends. Parents night begins at $85, and five pack series is available.
