ElfTennis storms back after the storm. If you thought that our racquets would have been blown away by the blistering winds of Sandy, think again!
The staff at ElfTennis cares very much about the people who lost homes, cars and power due to the destruction of Hurricane Sandy. ElfTennis is working to connect their customers who lost vital resources to customers who are in a position to help via a mass email that will be sent out to every single person on the ElfTennis mailing list. The name of the game is getting specific needs met while connecting those in need with those who are in a position to help. The email will encourage people to write back and post specific needs on the ElfTennis facebook page, and thus connecting them to a group of people with similar needs, particularly young children.
In addition, ElfTennis plans to hold several fundraisers that would allow the business to expand and offer programs in more neighborhoods. ElfTennis is working toward building an indoor location as well as a camp at a picturesque location. Elf Tennis offers programs to students on the autism specturm, and launch a program to train educators and day care providers in the ElfTennis method of working with young children.
This is why ElfTennis will be holding several 50/50 fundraisers where 50% of the money raised will go to funding ElfTennis improvements and 50% to Hurricaine Sandy relief.
In addition, we are offering a parent's night out on Friday, November 30th. This is a joint event with the gym park 6:30pm to 11:00pm. The event consists of gymnastics, tennis, and games, all of which serve as a way for the parents to enjoy a night out while their children are entertained with games, tennis, gymnastics, refreshments, and new friends. To RSVP for the parents night out, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
ElfTennis is also holding an online auction. Proceeds from the online auction will go toward providing instruction to kids with autism and partly to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. ElfTennis still has t-shirts in stock and 10 % of sales go to aid Hurricane Sandy victims.
Email email@example.com if you are interested in this effort.
