Fitness-Related Pain? How Injury Clinics at Up and Running Can Help, Washington, Ohio

Are aches and pains holding you back from the activities you love? If you’re putting aside your running or walking shoes and workout clothes and forgoing your daily fitness routine, then you need to get to the root of the problem.

Up and Running in Dayton, which has two store locations in Dayton and Troy, Ohio, sells running shoes and sports bras with free customized fittings.  They also offer running technique classes and 5K programs. Every week, they also offer free sports injury assessments as a part of their Premier Health Injury Clinics at both locations.

What To Expect During Your Free Sports Injury Assessment

A certified athletic trainer from Premier Health will be on hand to evaluate your sports injuries and offer expert advice on how to treat or rehabilitate a new injury or an old injury that may have resurfaced.


Depending upon the source and frequency of the pain, the certified athletic trainer will make a recommendation as to whether or not you should resume participating in sports or seek treatment.

In Dayton, you can get a free sports injury assessment every Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Call (937) 432-9210 to make an appointment, or stop by during the injury clinic’s hours.

In Troy, sports injury assessments take place on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Call (937) 401-0295 to make an appointment, or stop by during injury clinic hours.
