We want to inform you of a couple changes to our normal schedule which will be occurring during the upcoming weeks.

Dr. Johnstone will be out of the office starting November 5th until after New Year’s Day (approximately 8-10 weeks) due to knee replacement surgery. Dr. Collins will be available during this time to see all patients and address any ongoing issues or questions.

Our normal schedule is dependent on having 2 doctors available to rotate shifts. Since Dr. Collins will be the only vet available during this period, we have made the decision to not be open for business on most Wednesdays until Dr. Johnstone returns.  This Wednesday closure will affect medical clients as well as boarding clients.  A few exceptions will be as follow:

We will be open for normal business on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 23rd). We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

We will have non-medical staff here for boarding only on the Wednesdays before and after Christmas (December 21st and 28th).  We will be open normal hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Dr. Collins will be on-call any Wednesday we are closed for emergency questions, and staff will return non-emergency messages the next business day. For fastest service, if your pet needs immediate treatment on a Wednesday we are closed, please call either the Care Center in Blue Ash (530-0911) or MedVet on Red Bank Road (561-0069).

We apologize that this may cause an inconvenience for some clients, but hope that you will be patient and understanding with us during this temporary period. We plan to work with clients to make this time go as smoothly as possible. Thank you in advance.
