Finding purpose and meaning in your life can sometimes seem challenging and daunting. However, regular participation in inspirational devotionals at a place of worship will help you find answers to some of life’s biggest questions. At Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Honolulu, HI, parishioners draw strength from being part of a congregation that comes together to promote love, inclusiveness, patience, and understanding through a Christ-centered message.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church weaves a Christian focus into all of its worship services. While existential questions like “Where did we come from?”, “Why are we here?”, and “What is the purpose of my life?” are universal, the parishioners believe these answers are grounded in faith. That’s why they’ve developed weekly devotionals to bring the community together and enhance their spiritual development.

If you’re searching for inner meaning, here are two popular devotional series to check out at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church:

devotional“What’s Life All About?”

This is one of the church’s discussion series that allows individuals to share their views about the meaning of life in a relaxed setting. Taking place Thursday nights, these sessions start with a dinner at 6:15 p.m. (a $3 donation is requested for food) followed by in-depth discussions starting at 6:40 p.m.

“Why Pray If God Knows Everything?”

This is another devotional series taking place Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. Led by author Philip Yancey, the session is filled with real-life examples to detail how prayer makes a difference in your life by helping you find your path with God’s help.

Besides their weekly devotional programs, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church offers regular Bible studies, church services, and community service programs to unite the congregation and bring meaning to the lives of people in the community.
