CPR/BLS

Learn CPR & basic life support (BLS) at Big Apple Training's Bronx location. The information and techniques taught are always in accordance to the American Heart Association's® (AHA) standards. This class is ideal for anyone intending to go into professional health care, in any capacity.

Phlebotomy Technician

November 7^th

9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Part of a 48-hour program, this class teaches both theoretical and clinical work; students will learn skills for drawing and collecting blood for analysis as well as transfusions. Big Apple Training’s phlebotomy classes can lead to national certification, providing individuals opportunities in laboratories, clinics, and hospitals.

Phlebotomy/EKG

November 7^th

6:00 p.m.

In addition to learning skills regarding the aforementioned field of phlebotomy, this class also includes electrocardiographic (EKG) imaging. Using strategically placed electrodes, EKG tests are used to monitor the heart's electrical impulses as well as analyze cardiovascular issues.

Coding & Billing

Big Apple Training's last class of the month focuses on the ins and outs of one of the fastest growing aspects of the medical industry—medical coding and billing. Participation in the class does require previous fulfillment of Big Apple Training's Anatomy and Medical Training courses.
