If you’re an amateur golfer looking for engaging, competitive play, the Waikoloa Village Amateur Golf Tournament is for you. Each year, players of all ages and experience levels gather for a rousing 36-hole stroke play tournament at the beautiful Waikoloa Village Golf Club in Waikoloa, HI.

This year’s men’s tournament will take place on October 22 and 23, with tee-offs starting at 7 a.m. While socializing with participants and making your way around the world-class course, you can enjoy the stunning view of the Hawaiian coastline and scenic volcanoes. As Hawaii’s best Big Island golf course, there’s no better place to tee off. In addition to green time and a golf cart, your entry fee includes a gourmet lunch and the chance to win exciting cash prizes. 

To add to the action, the golf course is also hosting a Cross Country Horse Race game on October 22 at 3 p.m. In the morning, golfers will play a few rounds; afterwards, their scores will be used to determine their team placement in the nine-hole alternate shot format “cross-country” course. One team will be eliminated at each hole until only the best is left standing. To take part in the Cross Country Horse Race game, simply pay before tee-off on Saturday, Oct. 22.
