Boot Camps and Mommy Fitness This Summer at Central Park, Manhattan, New York

As the warm weather approaches and beach season draws ever nearer, it's easy to make big promises and plans to shed those extra few pounds. What's difficult, however, is sticking to them. There is truth to the idea that working out with friends or group will help you to stick to plan and effectively lose weight as a team.

This summer, Mind Over Matter NYC has a series of 2012 Summer Boot Camps designed to motivate and coach people of all fitness levels and walks of life. All you need to do is sign up, show up, and sweat your stuff with your friends and fellow exercisers.

Central Park Boot Camp

The Central Park Boot Camps will run from June 25th to August 6th, for 60 minutes each session. Those who work hard for their results can lose up an entire pants size once the program is over, and achieve a more toned and healthy look all over. Each boot camp's session is located on the top of Bethesda Fountain, surrounding each workout with the lovely sights and sounds of the lake and the splashing fountain. Celebrate the end of each workout by the lake and let the spray of the fountain cool you off. That's the feeling of achievement.

Each class is limited to 12 people, in order to ensure that each member receives personal attention throughout their work out, so be sure to buy tickets right away.

$150/six classes (one class free!)

$30/individual class

MILF Stroller Boot Camp

Plenty of Mind Over Matter NYC members (MOMs) are mothers themselves! Perhaps you're looking to shed the last of your baby weight with some mommy fitness, or maybe you simply want to work out without worrying about leaving your children at home with the babysitter.

Regardless of the reason, the MILF Stroller Boot Camp – Mothers Interested in Living Fit – allows exercisers to bring the baby along for fantastic workouts that incorporate the baby stroller and child into each move. These work outs are sure to blast fat off, as they combine cardio, resistance training, weight training and stretches all into one 60 minute session. Classes run from June 26th to August 7th this summer session in Battery Park.

$150/six classes (one class free!)

$30/individual class

Those interested in fitness boot camps and mommy fitness can register for the program today.

Don't waste your summer away making work out plans that never, well, work out. Visit Mind Over Matter NYC for more information regarding their 2012 Summer Boot Camps or for other programs offered.
