Kathy Lee, MBA, Director, Special Projects and Community Liaison at Coryell Memorial Healthcare System, was a guest speaker yesterday at the State of Texas HHSC Statewide Learning Collaborative to share her knowledge regarding rural healthcare and the exchange of information between hospitals and other healthcare providers in Texas. Known as HIE, providers in Texas are working together to improve access to care, better patient outcomes, and lower costs of providing services to patients in rural Texas.
