About the Museum Passes

Museum passes are made available to Library patrons through the generosity of the Friends of the Wellesley Free Libraries and other organizations. The Trustees appreciate and welcome these gifts. As with other gifts donated to the Library, museum passes and their use are governed by the Library Board of Trustees.

Reserving a Museum Pass

Wellesley residents may make advance reservations, online, in person at the Main Library, or by calling 781-235-1610 ext. 1104 (or press 3 during the automated voice menu).  Non-Wellesley residents with a valid library card from any of the member libraries of the Minuteman Library Network may borrow a museum pass on the day of its use provided the pass has not already been reserved for use that day.  In order to allow as many families as possible to enjoy this service, borrowing is limited to one museum pass per family per week during school vacations. Passes may be reserved up to 60 days prior to use.
