It promises to be a fascinating two days of dance!
All dancers, ages 10 & up, are invited to attend a contemporary workshop with Ridgefield School of Dance alumnus Julia Galanski. This workshop will include a technique class and a composition lab for dancers to exercise their creative voices. The contemporary technique class is based on the styles of Merce Cunningham, the Judson Dance Group, Ohad Naharin, release technique, and other contemporary techniques.
The lab section will give dancers a toolbox of compositional and improvisational skills to experiment with. This will be a fun time to be creative and explore some different ways to move and groove!
