Customer Spot- Light Visit – Wheelhouse & Scoopers, Waupaca JULY 2016
Working on a team that keeps heating, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration is busy work! Some days we get to eat lunch or visit with some of our favorite customers. Today was no different. It was time to visit The Wheelhouse and Scoopers!
The hot summer sun can make a penguin thirsty!! The bartender, Peter knows just how much ice is perfect. I love being made feel welcomed.
With my thirst out of the way, it was time to take care of the tummy. What a great staff. Hmm, what to order? Everything looks so yummy. Tom, my waiter was just full of smiles! Of course, it isn’t every day a penguin comes for lunch- especially a fun loving one like me.
With lunch ordered, I thought I would check out some fun in the kitchen. I wondered if my skills in culinary arts matched my service skills with tools. As you can see…That answer was, ah…”no”. I tried to help Marshall and Zach by wrapping potatoes, but I ran amuck! Wrappers stuck to me…oh my! The kitchen crew was gracious but suggested I check out some of the other neat things at Wheelhouse.
Back safely on the customer side, I spotted some merchandise with logos!
What ya think?? Wheelhouse hat!
I liked the shirts, but they didn’t have size “penguin”.
Hey, fish tanks! Hello fishy friends…. Oops, Sorry…nose smudges.. This is just soo neat.
Looking around, I saw another neat game. The Wheelhouse tradition of dollar bills stuck to the ceiling. Hey, I had heard about that. My new friend, Emily showed me the trick. I got the hang of it just in time to enjoy lunch!
After lunch, my adventures continued. I discovered the deck.
Selfie Time!
The crew at Wheelhouse reminded me of the wonderful music they host on the deck. Of course, I wasn’t going to miss a chance to show off my skills.
Ah hem…
“Let it go …. Let it go”
Seriously, I am a penguin, you had to see that Frozen song coming!
With the crowd amply wowed with my vocal techniques, I discovered I had room in my tummy for one more stop. DESSERT!
The All Temperature Systems team is ready to respond to a freezer call. I know why….ICE CREAM!
Look at that smile from Holly! I got the bestest kids cone at the bestest kid sized table.
Tasting just wasn’t enough. There are indeed culinary skills here also. So maybe, just maybe with the right scooping lesson, I could be helpful.
I was also excited to see barista skills! The second Holly even took the time to teach me!
With all this fun, I noticed some other really neat things here at Scoopers. Cookie jars up on the shelf! I wonder if I would make a good cookie jar? I just the right size. Hey, what is in here? SCORE! CHOCOLATE CHIP!
As I was working hard, I decided it was time to return back to fun. I tried to say hello to some new little friends in the claw machine. Wait… Is there a penguin in there with them? Nope, just my reflection.
Next, I saw a game right up my alley! Let me drive! I offer to drive the All Temperature service vans, but always get caught.
After I had successfully won every game, it was time to check out where music was coming from. Hi Ho Silver!
With my visit coming to an end, I remembered one more treat. I returned back to Wheelhouse. I remembered my tummy would be looking for supper. What a better way to enjoy my day at the Wheelhouse then taking some of it home.
Thank you Wheelhouse and Scoopers. We are so glad to be friends and have you as such great customers.
