Wellesley, MA – The Wellesley Theatre Project will present Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr. next Friday and Saturday.

Adapted from the 1951 film and the novels by Lewis Caroll, Alice in Wonderland Jr. takes viewers on a journey down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. There, Alice meets twins Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, races the dodo bird, raps alongside a caterpillar with a penchant for blowing bubbles, enjoys tea with the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter and takes on the evil Queen of Hearts.

The cast and crew of 41 Summer Production Camp students between six and 14 years old, hailing from Wellesley and its nearby communities, help bring this classic tale to life.

Performances will take place Friday, July 8 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 9 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. All performances will be held at the Katherine L. Babson Auditorium at the Wellesley High School Auditorium, 50 Rice St. in Wellesley. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.

Tickets purchased in advance are $12 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Group discounts and gift certificates are available. To purchase tickets, click here.
