For Dr. Fennimore, becoming an OBGYN was an exceptional opportunity to follow her passion for women's health issues, and it shows in her excellent interactions with all of her patients! 

Born in Russia, Dr. Fennimore received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Vladivostok State Medical University in 1993. She then began work in the oncologic gynecology field where she worked for four years before moving to Alaska in 1998.  Dr. Fennimore became a US citizen in 2003 and then relocated to Cincinnati in 2004 to begin her OBGYN residency at Bethesda North Hospital.  Following the completion of her residency program in 2008 she joined our team at OBGYN Associates.

The staff at OBGYN Associates describes Dr. Fennimore as outgoing, spirited and very fashionable—a description that fits well with her practice’s philosophy! Believing that open communication is key to quality women’s health care, Dr. Fennimore works hard to make patients feel comfortable and informed. She feels strongly in supporting women’s health with compassionate, education-based OBGYN services that help patients feel supported and empowered to take control of their wellness.

Besides spending time caring for her patients, Dr. Fennimore also has two teenage daughters, ages 17 and 13, with her husband of 18 years. She and her husband have also served as host parents for two foreign exchange students, young women from Germany and Spain.  Their family is completed by their two soft coated wheaten terriers, Umcka and Riley. Although it may not come as a surprise for those who know her, Dr. Fennimore is a great lover of travel and has already visited a large number of countries around the world. She is also an avid runner and completed her first full marathon last year.
