Monday was a good day. We learned about the different habitats that animals live in, what they eat, and the noises they make. We also made our own creations of the habitats and we cut and glued the animals to the place. On top of all of this, we learned about some new animals like Gazelles, Okapies and such.
On Tuesday we learned about Vertebrates. We classified Vertebrates and Non-Vertebrates. Vertebrates have backbones, whereas Non-Vertebrates do not. We focused mainly on vertebrates; Humans, Mammals, and more. We glued different Vertebrates on paper and identified the backbone.
Invertebrates and Bats
On Wednesday, we made animal masks (shown above) and made our own butterflies on paper. We learned about invertebrates mostly; Fireflies, ants, butterflies, and squids. On top of all of this, we learned about the giant squid, what they eat, and how and rare they are because of their deep sea location.
On Thursday we mainly learned about bats, made our own bats, and we took a bat quiz.
