At A Brighter Rainbow Learning Center, Chinese New Year is on the way! Join the early childhood development center as it welcomes the "Year of the Horse" in a delicious and educational manner with a special themed installment of the successful Cooking Friday series. As part of A Brighter Rainbow’s engaging approach to education, kids will learn about the ancient and diverse cultures of China, as well as modern Chinese New Year traditions, all while making yummy homemade noodles. Traditionally, the Chinese New Year is celebrated within the first two weeks of the Chinese calendar. This year, the "Year of the Horse" will be celebrated on January 31st, and fortunately for A Brighter Rainbow, that falls on a Friday!

The learning center strives to bring in a diverse range of speakers that get young students excited about learning; if you have a fun, educational, and age-appropriate presenter in mind, feel free to share it with the school. Past events have recently included a visit with Santa Claus and a presentation from a real-life scientist! Next month, A Brighter Rainbow will be bringing in a dental hygienist to talk about the importance of dental health. (More information on that will be made available in the next few weeks.)
