Billerica’s best childhood education and day care center, A Brighter Rainbow Learning Center, is proud to announce one of this month’s events! Later this March, A Brighter Rainbow will be hosting a specialist from Michelle’s Menagerie to talk about something everyone loves: birds.

Michelle’s Menagerie specializes in bringing unique and exciting animals to schools, day care centers, and birthday parties for fun, educational, and hands-on events. This month at A Brighter Rainbow, children will learn about their featured “Beautiful Birds!” As explained on Michelle’s website, birds evolved from dinosaurs, and students will hear about their backgrounds, how adaptations have affected their survival, and much, much more!

Kids and parents can expect to interact with seven different types of birds—and one reptile—including the following:

  • Parrot
  • Mallard Duck (Male and Female)
  • Dove
  • Partridge
  • Silkie Rooster
  • Old English Chicken
  • Snake

Of course, all young participants will be safe, as the animals are professionally handled in a controlled environment for the duration of the activity. It’s a one-of-a-kind chance to learn about science, animals, and the environment from the convenience of A Brighter Rainbow Learning Center. Plus, there is no extra cost for this event!

Every month, the learning center works to share educational, and one-of-a-kind events with children. Combining academic lessons, hands-on activities, and cultural awareness, the events are a high point of every month!
