There are almost 10,000 veterans at La Crosse, Wisconsin’s Oak Grove Cemetery as well as a Wall of Honor, a special final resting place in the cemetery to honor these heroes and their family members. To respect their memory as well as other family and friends who have passed, visit the cemetery this Memorial Day for the parade and military service within the cemetery grounds.

On Monday, May 27, 2019, La Crosse’s annual Memorial Day Parade concludes at the cemetery followed by a special service in the Civil War section honoring the veterans who have done so much for our country during their military service. It is a great opportunity to show your respect and love for family and friends who have served our country this Memorial Day weekend and now have found their peace within the cemetery.

Oak Grove Cemetery has a Wall of Honor within the Garden Mausoleum for veterans. Within the Wall of Honor the niches and crypts include one bronze military branch emblem and government-issued plaque.
