The revised SAT (rSAT) has arrived.   One of the first things that it tells us is that all students still need to know which test is best for them .  Since all Colleges and Universities take either the ACT or rSAT test and your best score counts.  So at Peach State Tutoring and Test Prep, we offer the ACT vs rSAT for free to determine which test a student will preform better on.  This can save a student over 3 hours and the test will give much more analysis than taking a full rSAT and/or a full ACT.  What the PSAT and the rSAT have told us is that formulating the grading has become a difficult task for the College Board.  They were late in producing the scores for the PSAT which held up frustrated guidance counselors in working with their students on areas that they needed to improve on the preparation for the rSAT.

To add fuel to the fire, students who took the March rSAT will not get their scores back until the May testing is complete.  Normally in the past students would get their scores back in 2 to 3 weeks, not the 2 months plus that they will now be waiting.  Many students need to take the best test for them (ACT/rSAT) more than one time to achieve their best score.  This means that they would not know what to improve on prior to the May test because they would not have their scores back.

The College Board had taken surveys after the March test and all seemed to be wonderful based on the statistics.  But when other companies question the same students, the results seemed much different.  The test did not seem to be as real world as it been stated to be.

At Peach State Tutoring and Test Prep we can help with all of these issues.  We have helped many students improve their scores and get into the colleges and universities of their choice.  Our no contract, pay-as-you-go method seems to be a favorite among parents as well.  We have helped students from Roswell, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming, Suwanee, Duluth and Norcross.
