Mobile Payment Apps Are The Way of The Future; Download The MyCheck App & Start Paying Your Way!, Manhattan, New York

Mobile payments are all the rage today, with one out of every three Americans making mobile payments. Now anyone with a smartphone can make a mobile payment with just the click of a button. In fact, the latest mobile payment app allows for convenient bill pay at nightclubs, restaurants and bars around New York City! Introducing MyCheck, a mobile payment application that allows you to conveniently pay and check out when you’re ready to leave a business establishment.

In most cases mobile payment means paying from your smartphone, such as iPhones and Androids, although this can also include transactions made online. Everything from taxi fare to parking fee is available on a smartphone app. The truth is that swiping your phone is not all that different from swiping your card; but in a sit-down restaurant a mobile payment app can be a huge game changer.

There are many big and small players in the mobile payment app game. Some require the phone to be swiped in lieu of a credit card, others generate a QR code that have to be scanned in a reader. The fact is, there is really no major difference in taping a phone near a scanner than there is with swiping a credit card, so something needs to grab a customer's attention. And who is going to hand over their phone in a full service restaurant? The goal is to create a mobile payment app that consumers find convenient, easy, and above all else, secure, and that can be used in many different types of venues.

Customers dining out in NYC will be able to see the bill on their phone in real time and be able to pay without having to ask the server or bartender for the check or the credit card slip.

One of the only companies that have cracked the code on this idea of simple and convenient bill pay is the MyCheck app, which has recently been rolled out in NYC. The smartphone app actually talks to restaurant POS systems so all the customer needs to do is check in when they get to a location, provide the server with the 4-digit code that the system generates, and after that they can pay and leave whenever they want. It’s that easy!

Download the MyCheck app on your iPhone or Android for a full list of participating venues throughout NYC. Some of the latest merchants include Spring Natural Kitchen, Edwards, Bodrum Mediterranean Restaurant and the famed Rouge Tomate on the Upper East Side.

MyCheck. Just go out.
