JFK Window and Door installed this Andersen French Wood Hinged Patio Door for a customer in the Fairfield area. We installed the door system earlier in February. It’s a beautiful door that I’d like to feature on this week’s Front Door Friday, even though it isn’t a front door.

This patio door wasn’t your typical installation. The door system was installed where there were three windows. In this picture you can see that there is siding below the windows. Our installers, Joey and Michael cut away this siding to enlarge the existing window opening to create enough space for the new Andersen three panel French Wood Hinged Patio Door. The door system is made up of an active panel in the middle flanked by stationary panels on either side. Here’s an action shot of the windows being removed.

I also have an interior shot of the patio door. The interior was custom painted by JFK Window and Door to match the homeowner's paint code:
