On April 8th, Touro College NYSCAS and Technical Careers Institute (TCI) signed an exciting articulation agreement. This agreement allows students who have earned an A.A.S degree in Digital Media Arts or Networking Technology at TCI to continue their educational track at New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) – a division of Touro College – for a B.S.
The intention of this agreement to provide a smooth pathway for undergraduate students with a two year higher education to complete their four year Bachelor's degree. The articulation agreement signed by Touro College guarantees that any credits TCI students earn in courses that match the school's curriculum will be accepted as credits towards a B.S. degree in NYCSCAS’s Digital Media Arts or Networking Technology programs.
For students who know they will continue their education on the master's level, Touro College also offers up to nine joint undergraduate / graduate credits in collaboration with the Touro Graduate School of Technology, making it possible to complete both a Bachelor's and a Master's degrees in five years, in the following concentrations: Information Systems, Web & Multimedia Design, or Instructional Technology.
The articulation agreement between TCI and Touro College also provides students with essential counseling and in long-range planning by faculty and career counselors through the transfer process.
