On Tuesday, August 6th from 9am to 3pm, Touro College Graduate School of Technology will be hosting an informative seminar “Learning and Teaching Using the iPad” at the 100 5th Avenue Apple Computer location.
Taught by Apple representative Paul Facteau, “Learning and Teaching Using the iPad” is a highly relevant class for graduate school students and educators emerging in the technology industry. The iPad is not only a convenient device for use on the train; it is filled with fantastic education applications and resources to help students and teachers organize, present, and research information. Accessible by iTunes U, some of the most popular educational applications are Teacher’s Assistant Pro, Outliner, Keynote, and Pages.
The class is open not only to students of Touro College GST’s Master of Science in Instructional Technology program, but to current teachers as well. NYS certified teachers receive a certificate for 6 Professional Development hours upon completion of the course.
