Touro College Graduate School of Technology is proud to be home to students and aspiring professionals from a wide range of diverse backgrounds. This technical school strives to welcome all who come from across the globe to continue their education by throwing cultural nights, sponsoring events, and hosting opportunities for students of similar backgrounds to come together at Touro.
Just a few weeks ago, Touro hosted an information session for students interested in joining The Nepalese Society at Touro College! The event, which took place on April 24th, had a wonderful turnout. Just under 30 students made it to the event and all welcomed the chance to make new friends, learn about updates made to U.S. immigration policy, and potentially receive a 5% scholarship toward their studies at Touro’s Graduate School of Technology.
David Luk, Touro’s International Student Advisor, spoke to the attendees regarding new government policies relevant to foreign students, as well as how students are able to receive health benefits. Additionally, Robert Grosberg, Touro’s Director of Career Services, spoke to the group about ways that GST Career Services helps students find jobs after graduation, and mentioned that he welcomes undergraduate students to reach out to him for assistance as well.
