When asked by Banker and Tradesman for her take on GE's Move to Boston Elaine Bannigan responded:

"Well, my take is that it couldn't be more positive - thank you Charlie Baker and Marty Walsh! Of course we are anticipating that the Boston luxury market will benefit from those who want urban living. As for the suburban markets, those that are well known for strong school systems, strong supporting home values, easy commute to Boston and good access to the airport will be the major winners. We fully expect Wellesley and Weston to be chosen by a good number of these GE families. We look forward to helping them become established in the area. I used to work for GE many years ago - such an outstanding company!"
