Arhaus will open the doors to its newest store at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois, Friday, June 27. The 15,298 sq. ft. single-story space, located on the lower level in the Nordstrom wing near Victoria’s Secret, will showcase lifestyle vignettes of handcrafted furniture and accessories, infused with the unexpected—antiques from Indonesia and Paris, exotic and everyday fresh florals, and hand-painted murals.
Doors open at 10 a.m.
Customers are also invited to browse the store’s endless lifestyle vignettes and complete a Wish List of must-have Arhaus designs to be registered to win one of three Arhaus Gift Cards: $500, $1,000 and $1,500 with a complimentary in-home design consultation to pull the looks-they-love together.
The three winners will be announced at the retailer’s grand opening celebration, Thursday, July 17, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.—featuring complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Reservations will be accepted at the store or online:
Abiding by the retailer’s signature and successful footprint, the new Rochester store location will feature a combination of marble and oak floors, and hand-carved teak panels and doors. Center stage are the retailer’s slipcovered, leather and fitted sofas, sectionals and chairs, dining tables and chairs, bedroom furniture and private label bedding, antiques and reproductions, outdoor furniture, library and office appropriate pieces as well as media centers, and an assortment of seasonally appropriate (and always changing) accessories and tableware.
Entirely exclusive to Arhaus, furniture and accessories are handmade by artisans all over the world. “Each piece is unique to our stores,” says founder and chief executive officer John Reed, “one-of-a-kind.” And, anything labeled Arhaus is made with sustainability in mind. The retailer’s Rainforest Policy, a commitment not to purchase pieces made of wood harvested from the world’s endangered rainforests, dates back to 1986 and the first store location in downtown Cleveland.
Today, this policy has evolved. Arhaus will only source wood from vendors practicing sustainably and its artisan partners use recycled materials—wood, metal and glass—whenever possible.
Arhaus has four other locations in the Chicago market. The newest location opened in May this year at 1240 Northbrook Court joining stores that have been open since 2007 in South Barrington at The Arboretum, 100 West Higgins Rd., Lincoln Park on N. Clybourn Avenue and at the Oak Brook Promenade, 3041 Butterfield Rd.
Arhaus’s store hours at Woodfield Mall are as follows: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
