Dealing with the effects of childhood cancer can be devastating. Find support, healing, and comfort at Leaps of Love, Inc. in Highland, IL. Established in 2010, this social services organization strives to assist families who have been affected by the aftermath of childhood brain tumors and the effects of cancer treatment. Through retreats, social events, and workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with, learn from, and lean on others who have had similar experiences.

Hoping to create a sense of solidarity and space for empathy for those dealing with loss, treatment, or recovery, this social services organization offers numerous activities and programs throughout the year to help families connect. Some of these events cater to parents who have lost children due to pediatric cancer. Others focus on young adults who have survived their battle with the illness. Regardless of the specific retreat, you can always expect to celebrate the gift of life with other attendees.

This social services organization is committed to giving participants hope through their struggles, embracing families who have been affected and encouraging them to discuss the particular challenges they face. Connections are made between families, survivors, and volunteers, leading to relationships that will last a lifetime. With the help of donors and fundraising, these programs are made available to survivors and their families at no cost.

Leaps of Love is devoted to creating a community for families who’ve been affected by childhood cancer. Call (618) 410-7212 or visit them online for more information about how to volunteer or donate to this child cancer support and awareness organization.
