About Helene Fuld College of Nursing

LPN to RN and RN to BS Nursing Programs

Helene Fuld College of Nursing offers a full curriculum that includes nursing, liberal arts, and science courses to approximately 400 full- and part-time students enrolled in the accelerated LPN to RN Associate Degree, and RN to BS Upper Division Bachelor of Science Degree programs. All classes are conducted on the Central Harlem campus. In addition to the rigorous program of instruction, students participate in a range of clinical learning experiences at a number of New York City’s health care facilities.

The nursing school was founded in 1945 and is dedicated to academic excellence in the field of nursing. Helene Fuld recognizes that nursing is a multi-level career and strives to help students reach their highest potential. Whether you’re taking LPN or RN classes, you’ll be presented with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. You’ll also receive the proper education for passing the NCLEX-RN examination, which is required by the National Council of State Boards and the New York State Education Department, Division of Professional Licensing Services.

Many of the nursing school’s students come from New York, as the school is easily reachable from all five boroughs. Residents in adjacent counties, as well as in New Jersey can also easily reach the school via public or private transportation. Since most students have other obligations aside from nursing school, the college holds classes Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The flexibility and commitment of Helene Fuld College of Nursing allows the institution to quickly adapt to changes in both the nursing profession and the higher education field. Visit the nursing school online for information regarding admissions and classes.
