No one is turned away because of lack of insurance or inability pay.  As a Patient-Centered Medical Home, our goal is to help you manage your total wellness with efficiency and ease.  We provide convenient, quality, and compassionate care at multiple locations, Kailua-Kona, Kealakehe, Kealakekua, and Waikoloa Village.

West Hawaii Community Health Center’s services are integrated and offer medical, dental and behavioral health care in addition to helping to provide support and resources for chronic disease management, substance use treatment, and tobacco cessation.  Their team of dedicated professionals includes psychiatrists, family doctors, primary care physicians, and women’s health experts, among others.

From the physicians to the administrative staff, the many people working at West Hawaii Community Health Center believe in every individual’s right to healthcare. That is why they treat every person who walks through their doors, regardless of their ability to pay. You do not have to worry about getting turned away here.

The health center’s roots date back to 2002 when a local meeting was called to discuss how to meet the healthcare needs of West Hawaii’s most vulnerable populations. Just three years later, West Hawaii Community Center opened its doors to the public. Since then, the health center has stayed true to its mission to provide top quality medical services that allow productive individuals and families to live in “lokahi” (unity).
