ElfTennis is a portable tennis school. ElfTennis offers tennis lessons tailored for kids in the NYC area. We use appropriate games and drills. We conduct tennis clinics in gyms, church and synagogue basements. We use smaller nets and foam balls to make the game easier for younger children. We firmly believe in the four Fs: fun, fitness, friendship, and fundamentals of tennis.

Our founder, Esther Forrester is a seasoned instructor. She has taught tennis for 10 years at camps, private clubs,and high schools. She was an academic all-American in Division I tennis and is on the all-time list for wins in singles and doubles at Stony Brook. She is currently nationally ranked in Women's 30s Doubles. Tennis is her passion and she is constantly looking for new ways to make tennis exciting. She also has published articles on tennis in Tennis Life Magazine. She began playing tennis against a garage wall when she was 10 and hasn't stopped since then. She is energetic and is an observant artist; she always notices ways players can improve.

Chris Haggard is a visiting instructor. He is a world-class tennis professional and has wins in doubles over Roddick and Djokovic. He will be teaching select guest clinics in the coming year. It's really happening. This summer Chris will be offering some advanced specialized guest clinics and competing in some exhibition matches at country clubs and private clubs.
