Geneva Woods Birth Center, Midwives & Birthing Centers, Family and Kids, Anchorage, Alaska

Geneva Woods Birth Center is the place to go for a safe and peaceful alternative to traditional hospital births. Serving the communities of Anchorage and sounding areas, our birthing center provides a welcoming space where women can bring a new member of their family into the world under the supervision of Certified Nurse Midwives. In addition to birthing services, they also offer an array of OB/GYN and family planning services.

Geneva Woods Birth Center’s certified midwives can assist births both at a hospital and at the birthing center, and can even arrange for a water birth. If you have a low-risk pregnancy without complications and are planning on a natural birth without medication, their birthing centers are a great option. Whatever you choose, an experienced midwife will walk you through the entire process—before, during, and after birth. Since 2002, the center’s experienced midwives have brought over 1,200 babies safely into the world.

As part of their dedication to nurturing healthy women and families, Geneva Woods Birth Center also provides general women’s health services. Their OB/GYN specialists can perform cancer screenings, help with menopause preparation, and deliver infection treatment. They also assist in family planning and birth control measures.

Accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers, Geneva Woods Birth Center is happy to help your family grow. To find out more about their diverse services, visit their website. You can also call them directly at (907) 561-2626 to discuss your needs and set up an appointment.
