Event Information

On October 24th and 25th, Waikoloa Village Golf Club in Waikoloa, HI is proud to host the 9th annual Waikoloa Amateur Championship, the Big Island's best amateur golf tournament. This event is open to enthusiasts of all skill levels, offering everyone a chance to test their skills and win great prizes in a 36-hole stroke play championship. The championship will be held at the Waikoloa Village Golf Club, with split tee times starting at 7 a.m. on both days.

The tournament is open to all amateur golfers who submit a valid GHIN card or GHIN number and pay the low entry fee of $160. This fee includes box lunches on both days of the tournament, as well as entrance to a special awards ceremony on October 25th after the conclusion of the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to three different flights, making it more competitive for newcomers and experienced golfers alike.

To add to the excitement, there will also be a cross-country horse race on October 24th. Starting at 3 p.m., players with the top 15 net and top 15 gross scores from Saturday stroke play will be randomly assigned into two-man teams. These teams will play a fast-paced 9-hole cross-country format, with several teams eliminated in each round, with cash prizes going to the winners.
