Summer Program Highlights 2014

This week I would like to highlight our FasTracKids Discoverers summer program. For children looking to prepare their children, without actually test prepping them, this class is a can't miss opportunity for your children!

Each week is a new weekly theme and is like a Crash course in the FasTracKids Core program over the summer weeks!

Ages 3.5-5.0

FasTracKids Discoverers

Fun and challenging enrichment for the young mind. Great preparation for public and private entrance exams such as the OLSAT and ERB. This is a super-fun, super-advanced crash course in our FasTracKids Core Program.

This is a must do if your child is not enrolled in FasTracKids core classes during the school year and you are looking to further enrich their knowledge, vocabulary, concentration, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills

Activities include:

Smart Board, hands-on projects, arts & crafts, experiments, role-playing, videotaping & more!

6/30 – 7/3 Artist’s Studio

Join Ana Paula in the FasTrack art studio and be inspired by the works of famous artists such as Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso while creating unique pieces of art! Students will enjoy creating their own cartoon story, interacting with digital art on the Learning Station, making several sculptures and illustrating books.

7/7 – 7/11 Trip around the World

FasTracKids will travel to various regions of the world and learn how children in those countries live. Visit the FasTracKids International Expo at the end of the week. This summer we willexplore Italy, Egypt, China, Mexico, and Brazil.

7/14 – 7/18 Natural Science

Children participate in a variety of scientific experiments including magnetism, flotation, molecular change and buoyancy. The children gain an understanding of the scientific method through these experiments and games.

7/21 – 7/25 Zoology: Genus or Genius?

Learn about life in the animal kingdom.

7/28 – 8/1 Lost in Space

Explore our galaxy and the concepts that hold it together.

8/4 – 8/8 Anatomy: Body Language

Through the exploration of different, major body systems such as the skeletal, respiratory, digestive, and circulatory & nervous systems, your child will explore the human anatomy and learn to develop healthy habits along the way.

8/11 – 8/15 Dinosaurs - Young Scientist, Old Bones

A trip to the Pre-Historic Ages and back, to discover the dinosaurs and the fossils they left behind.

8/18 – 8/22 Earth Science

The Earth reveals its wonder and variety as children explore climate, geology, and forces of nature. Activities and games on the Learning Station allow the children to take imaginary world journeys to examine and understand the composition of the earth from its surface to its core.

8/25 – 8/29 Entrepreneurship

The business world becomes real as children examine products from around the world. Children participate in an imaginary marketing survey and create an advertising strategy to better understand their daily economic impact.

Full Day Option - Ages 6 & Up Only! (9am – 4pm) if combined with Academic Enrichment Program

Early and Extended Day Options Available (7:30am - 6:30pm)
