Dear Parents,

Do Common Core standards have you anxious and concerned for the upcoming school year? Well, have no fear, we have a solution for you right here at the FasTracKids/JEI Learning Center - Williamsburg!

Our math tutoring and enrichment program consists of two components, a basic thinking component and a critical thinking component. 

Basic thinking math is aligned to the Common Core Standards and covers the following subject areas: Numbers, Arithmetic, Measurement, and Equations.

Critical thinking math enables students to develop depth perception, problem solving, and reasoning skills, and covers the following study areas: Patterns and Relationships, Geometry, Measurement, Problem Solving, and Reasoning.

Our math tutoring and enrichment program provides students with the confidence and comprehensive knowledge to meet the changing standards and feel comfortable solving, speaking about and reading math problems!  Our next e-mail will address the English component of Common Core)

Ages: 3.5 through 14 years of age

Student:Instructor Ratio: 3:1

How often? Students come 1x or 2x per week for 60 minutes per visit & are encouraged (not required) to take home materials and do 15 minutes a day from home when they are not in the center
