Hope Pizza Restaurant is all about family! It’s been family-owned and operated since 1979 when the first restaurant opened. When you bring your family to this quick-serve, top-notch pizzeria, you'll not only be happy with the pasta, burgers, pizzas, and salads, but you’ll also enjoy an environment that allows your kids to be kids.

In that spirit, let's look at 10 kid-friendly activities you can use while waiting or eating at Hope Pizza Restaurant:

  • Tic-Tac-Toe: Make a tic-tac-toe game on the table out of sugar packets and straws.
  • I Spy: Play this classic game by choosing something within eyesight and say "I spy with my little eye, something that __________." See if your child can guess what you spied.
  • What’s Missing?: Place four objects on the table, and while your children cover their eyes, remove one. Let them guess which one has been removed.
  • Color Crazy Pizza: This activity only needs a pen or pencil (or a few crayons if you have them) and a napkin. Let your child's imagination work they first draw a pizza, and then add all the toppings they'd like, the crazier the better: macaroni, ice cream, etc.
  • What’s Your Favorite?: Everyone at the table chooses a question: What is your favorite...ice cream flavor, color, sport, etc.? All answer, then the next person chooses a question.
  • Paper Toss: Use an empty cup and some small, balled up pieces of napkin to see who can make the most “baskets.”
  • Would You Rather?: Ask your children ridiculous questions such as the following: “Would you rather eat a flaming hot pepper or a handful of salt?” “Would you rather eat pizza or pasta for the rest of your life?”
  • Maze: Draw a simple maze on a napkin, and let your child use a pen, pencil or crayon to find their way through.
  • Mad Libs: Create a sentence with a noun or adjective missing, and let your children replace it. Take turns with this one.
  • Dots And Boxes: Createa grid using dots. Take turns joining the dots using lines. After a box is completed, the person who completed the box should initial the center, and take another turn. Continue taking turns until no more boxes can be made. The person with the most initialed boxes wins.

Hope Pizza Restaurant would love for you and your children to try out some of these games the next time you visit. Visit their web site for directions, menu options and testimonials, or call (203) 325-0660 to place an order!
