As you may know, FasTracKids offers a Gifted and Talented program for the purpose of developing and strengthening various skills. Over the last 13 years, we’ve created a much more comprehensive process for gifted and talented test prep in NYC. Gifted and Talented tests are not easy and children need to start preparing early on - as early as 2 or 3 years old, some studies suggest. FasTracKids NY has been offering courses and programs for over a decade that are specifically designed to develop critical thinking skills and other skills necessary for students to ace these tests and exceed their expectations.

Parents oftentimes ask us what skills are necessary for a child to perform proficiently on these exams. To start, a child needs to have a deeply enriched background and a certain level of confidence when test time comes. Children also need sharp critical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent concentration skills, and superior listening skills.

All of these skills are taught through our fun, dynamic, and engaging early childhood development program known as the FasTrackids Core program. Our core program helps develop a child's vocabulary and concentration skills using various hands-on methods that really tackle problem areas and allow students to blossom. It fosters high level brain development through an inquiry-based scientific approach. We focus on developing a child's unique gifted and talented characteristics starting as early as age 2. By starting this early, we are helping to build a solid academic foundation that will help bolster confidence and allow students to excel, both inside and out of the classroom.
