You don’t need to be a medical practitioner to save a life. Taking a few hours out of your day to learn CPR and First Aid can mean the difference between life and death. Serving the Greater Cincinnati area, Northern KY Emergency Medical Services (NKEM) has helped save lives for almost 50 years. As a non-profit organization, the American Heart Association and American Safety Health Institute certified training center offers basic health training for adults during an emergency.

Why learn CPR and first aid? Taking immediate action is the first step in responding to an emergency. Training teaches you to act quickly and calmly to help save a life, often times before an ambulance is called. When applying for health-related occupations, such as personal training, lifeguarding, and even child care, health emergency training is also a skill many employers look upon favorably.

All NKEM instructors are certified healthcare professionals. Their strong background in emergency services provide training for most emergencies at home, work, and school. CPR classes include AED training and an American Heart Association two-year certification. NKEM can also design a facility specific course to address specific areas, like head/eye injuries, wound care, and burns.

Northern KY Emergency Medical Services provides you with health training to keep those around you safe and healthy. As a nationally certified health organization, they also offer cardiac screenings, OSHA training, first-aid certification, and health training. Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m, call (859) 572-4511 to schedule a session or visit their website for a full list of their courses.
