Local accounting and local banking are two top reasons for Hawaiiana’s successful new business growth. Hawaiiana employs a staff of 230 with a local accounting staff of 73, many of whom are shown above. Hawaiiana clients are able to promptly speak with their association’s designated accountant, who is based in Honolulu. Hawaiiana carefully manages operating and reserve funds for over 700 associations, representing approximately $486 million.

Hawaiiana’s new clients consistently cite Hawaiiana’s local accounting staff and local banking as two big reasons for choosing the kama‘aina company.  Hawaiiana client operating accounts are safe and secure at Central Pacific Bank, while association reserves are placed in eligible (FDIC and NCUA Insured) Hawaii-based banking and financial institutions.

Hawaiiana provides clients the option of cash, accrual or modified cash/accrual financial statements. Homeowner payments are credited promptly, vendors are paid on time and clients are able to promptly speak with their association’s designated Hawaiiana accountant, who is based in Honolulu. 

Association maintenance fees can be paid by many safe and secure methods, including credit/debit card, E-check, and “SurePay,” an automatic monthly deduction system. Clients may also mail a check, or pay in person at Hawaiiana’s Honolulu office payment window.

Hawaiiana Management Company reported strong 2017 results and is poised for more success in 2018. Forty-six new properties joined Hawaiiana during 2017, bringing the total number of condominium associations and HOAs under contract to over 700. Sixteen additional clients joined Hawaiiana in January of this year.
