Havasu Pest Control (HPC) is thrilled to announce that they have been a member of the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce for 45 years. John Stebila Sr. and his family moved to Havasu in 1972. John sold his successful pest control business on Long Island, N.Y., relocating to eight-year-old Lake Havasu City.  

Today, 58 years in pest control, (46 years in Lake Havasu), HPC is the largest pest control business in Lake Havasu City.  John Sr. sold the company to John Jr. in 1989 to travel and eventually retire to Flagstaff.  John Jr. was joined by his wife, Suzanne, to help with operations until retiring in 2011, while retaining ownership. Michele Webb, Suzanne’s sister, became CEO, and her husband of 27 years, Ike, General Manager is a 27-year veteran of the company.  HPC is a full service residential and commercial pest control company, which includes termite control, pre- and post-treatment, rodent control, pigeon control, wildlife control, and weed control.

 “Pest control – that’s our foundation,” said Michele. “Everything else extends from that.” Employee turnover at Havasu Pest Control has been infrequent, for the most part. Two-20-year employees recently retired, but most employees have been with Havasu Pest Control for more than 10 years. One – Lead Customer Service Representative Aurora Masiello – has been with the firm for 27 years. “Our business has grown along with the city in recent years,” says Michele.

The company has added more technicians to reduce the size of present pest control routes. This allows our technicians to provide the best possible service. HPC puts their emphasis on customer service. “Most service companies dread complaints. We welcome these calls as they give the customer and HPC the opportunity to provide the best service possible. It is always better when a customer gives you the opportunity to make things right, we want them to come away happy.” she said. “HPC makes customer service the face of the business, and we strongly believe in taking care of our employees, because they are the face of our company and they take care of our customers.” In addition to Lake Havasu City, Havasu Pest Control serves the Parker area.
