ACI Nebraska Annual Awards of Excellence Banquet

Omaha, Nebraska, February 2^nd, 2018

Last week, two Stephens & Smith Construction projects were recognized by the American Concrete Institute Nebraska Chapter as Outstanding Achievement: UNO Scott Campus Parking Garage & a Stenciled Private Drive.  The event was held at Gallery 1516 in Omaha.  A total of eight projects were recognized, 5 outstanding achievements & 3 were recognized as Awards of Excellence.  Projects were recognized for their innovative and noteworthy use of concrete in the State of Nebraska. 

UNO Scott Campus Parking Garage, Omaha

As the University continues to develop, this parking facility is an integral component in the campus’ infrastructure.  Serving students in both the adjacent residence halls and the campus population at large, the new 1,200 car parking facility provides a safe and functional facility that is easy to navigate and enhances the campus visually.  READ MORE…

Follow the RED Brick Road: Stenciled Concrete, Private Residence

Stephens & Smith had the privilege working on a challenging yet rewarding decorative concrete project near Lincoln, Nebraska.  The project consisted of casting 215 cubic yards of “Stenciled Concrete” and this project provided the owner with all the benefits decorative concrete provides.  READ MORE...
