At the JEI Learning Center, we believe that a better life is achieved through a better education. Our self-learning method is designed to empower students to the most independent and creative thinkers they can be. If you are thinking about enrolling your son or daughter into our math, English, reading, or writing programs, take a look at some fast facts about our center so you can become better acquainted with our courses.

1. When are JEI Centers open? JEI Centers are generally open starting in the early afternoon hours on most weekdays. For specific center hours, please contact your nearest center.

2. How often do students come to the center? Students come to the center once a week. The weekly session for each subject is one hour long.

3. What is the student to teacher ratio? Classes have a maximum ratio of five students to one teacher.

4. What do students do at the center? Each week, students receive one workbook per subject they are enrolled in. Instructors will review the key concept pages of the week with the students.

5. How much homework is there? Students will do the remaining pages of the workbook as homework. JEI recommends they do a few pages daily.

6. How long does it take to do the homework? It varies by grade. Typically, it will take 15 to 30 minutes per day. The amount of time increases as grades go up.

7. How do you find out about student progress? Students will take Achievement and Diagnostic tests periodically. In math and English, students take an interim test during each weekly session.
