What Schluter® Waterproofing Solutions Are There?

The Schluter-Kerdi® waterproofing system is designed to keep showers or bathrooms leak-free for years. It is installed underneath the finishing tile surface. The main feature of the system is a bonded waterproofing and vapor-retardant membrane for the walls, flooring, and ceilings. The abutting joints of this membrane are sealed with a strip called the Kerdi-Band, which is a waterproof building panel which creates a ready-to-build surface for tile in showers and vanities. There are also preformed seamless corners and seals to go around the protruding plumbing.
