If you suffer from oral issues, such as periodontal disease or missing teeth, you may be the perfect candidate for dentures. With the look and feel of natural teeth, dentures give you a beautiful set of pearly whites. Stonegate Meadows Dental of Parker, CO, shares a few different options on the market in a guide below.

4 Different Types of Dentures

1. Basic & Classic Full

Both Basic and Classic Full dentures include complete sets of teeth and gums. Basic Full dentures come in three natural tooth shades with smooth and simple gums. Classic Full dentures have the same amount of shades, but they also have pigmented gums for a more realistic look. Basic Full dentures have a warranty of six months, while Classic Full dentures remain under warranty for one year.

2. Naturalytes®

denturesSimilar to Basic and Classic Full dentures, Naturalytes cover the entire mouth with teeth and gums. One key difference is that they are made from  higher quality materials that are extremely damage resistant. The gums are pigmented and mimic the texture of natural gums. Another big advantage is that they come with a three-year warranty.

3. Comfilytes®

Comfilytes take full set dentures to the next level. Available in 27 natural tooth shades, these highly customizable dentures use a variety of translucency levels and gum texture designs to complement your face and mouth. They are lightweight and resistant to stains, odors, and impacts. They also come with a seven-year warranty.

4. Partial Dentures

Flexilytes® and Cast Partial are forms of partial dentures for those who only want to replace a handful of teeth. They come in a variety of natural shades that blend well with your teeth. Depending on your preferences, you can add a discreet metal frame for extra strength and stability. Warranties on partial dentures may last anywhere from six months to a year.
