Starting next month, students in third through eighth grade will be taking their NYS English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics exams, which are designed to measure performance across a wide range of factors and determine which classes are best suited for each test taker and which academic areas could use some improving. Similar to the Common Core Standards, the ELA exam also aims to see how participants are performing in English and math subjects, but are redesigned to cover a broader range of performance indicators. At FasTracKids, we offer a targeted curriculum that is specifically designed to help students improve their skills before test day rolls around.

It’s often too easy to feel too shy or too left behind to speak up and get the help you need. When it comes to the FasTracKids’ classroom, we keep it as intimately sized as possible, with a 3:1 student to teacher ratio that is designed to ensure each child’s strengths and weaknesses are addressed and that all participants are given ample time to address any of their concerns and build a solid foundation for success in both the math and English portions of the exam. With hours available on both weekdays and weekends, students can sign up for courses that fit their busy schedules and are as convenient as possible. We also assign homework assignments so that students can get the practice they need and are able to retain the lessons that they learn each week.

If you are looking for a comprehensive tutoring program that puts students’ needs first, builds upon strengths and addresses weaknesses head on, you’ve come to the right place. Our tutors are devoted to your child’s success and will do everything in their power to ensure participants walk away from the ELA exams confident in the knowledge that they were not only prepared, but did their very best.
