A lovely green salad with nuts and a bit of sweetness is perfectly paired with a warm soup or stew for a cold winter night.  Check out the recipe below for a deliciously, simple salad option that will be your new favorite quick meal.

Apple-Cranberry Salad Toss

Ingredients:

  • 1 (10 oz) washed and ready mixed greens
  • 2 apples, sliced (I like granny smith for these)
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ¾ cup walnut halves, toasted
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ½ cup lite Raspberry Vinaigrette
  • ¼ cup Feta Cheese

Directions:

  1. Toss salad greens with fruit, nuts and onions.

  2. Add dressing just before serving; mix lightly.

  3. Sprinkle lightly with feta cheese to top.
