August is quickly approaching, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late for some educational summer fun! FasTracKids / Eye Level Learning Center, New York City’s top childhood development program, is hosting a Science Summer Camp in August for children fascinated about the natural wonders of the world.

Kids stay captivated all through the month of August with weekly camp themes designed to engage young curious minds:

  • Lost in Space:(8/5 – 8/9) The first summer camp theme is an educational foray into astronomy. Students become “FasTronauts” as they learn about how astronauts train, live, and work in outer space.
  • Anatomy & Body Language: (8/12 – 8/16) Children explore the human anatomy and learn healthy habits through the study of major body systems, including skeletal, respiratory, digestive, circulatory, and nervous.
  • Dinosaurs – Young Scientists, Old Bones:(8/19 – 8/23) Children meet with paleontologist Dr. Dino as they explore the land of dinosaurs! Students learn about these extinct reptiles and fossils, creating a project for the week that is showcased in the Learning Center Dinosaur Museum.
  • Inventors and Inventions: (8/26 – 8/30) Einstein, Tesla, Newton – this week is all about investors and their famous creations. Learn how and why amazing inventions like the light bulb just work!

Academic enrichment and fun summer activities come together at New York City’s top early childhood program this summer.
