At Eye Level, we distribute Basic Thinking Math booklets that feature a slew of different equations and are aligned with the Common Core State Standards.

When teaching addition and subtraction, our teachers help students develop specific strategies so that they can mentally compute these figures.

At Eye Level, our instructors use grouping and manipulatives to help students grasp basic multiplication concepts.

Some of the areas of focus covered in our Critical Thinking Math booklets include perimeter, area, fractions, and geometry. Our goal is to challenge students to utilize abstract thinking and not be afraid to think outside the box.

Our teachers use visuals to explain decimals and percentages to students, along with supplemental classroom materials like tangible objects for students to practice their math skills with.

Both the Basic Thinking Math and Critical Thinking Math curriculum is designed to cater to each student’s individual learning style, instead of using a “one fits all” approach. When we assign problems to solve, we do it in the Common Core format that children will see in school so that they can become familiarized with the material.
